FOOD

☆TOPIC: Food
Food is a natural thing for us and we can not live without it. To know what effect food gives us, why don't we learn about it from lots of view point.

☆Vocabulary:


*chef
-A professional cook, especially the most senior cook in a restaurant, hotel etc.


*buffet
-A meel at which people serve themselves from a table and them stand or sit somewhere else to eat: a buffet lunch/supper

*rare
-(of meat)cooked for only short time so that the inside is still red

*medium
-(of meat)cooked for longer time than rare, the inside is between rare and well-done

*well-done
-(of food, especially meat)cooked thoroughly or for a long time

*rice-bowl-dish

-consisting of fish, meat, vegetables or other ingredients simmered together and served over rice

*staple food
-food that forms the basis of a traditional diet

*dessert
-sweet food eaten at the end of a meal

*aperitif
-drink, usually one containing alcohol, that people sometimes have just before a meal

-machine that boil the rice
